Set the transport period and latest delivery date

Your written quote records the transport service, estimated transit range and latest delivery date. The agreed transport period starts when your international freight payment is received. Delay is counted in calendar days from the day after that written latest delivery date.

Delay compensation schedule

Calendar days after the written latest delivery date
DelayCompensation
1–7 days5% of the applicable international freight basis
8–14 days10% of that freight basis
15–21 days15% of that freight basis
22–28 days20% of that freight basis
29 days or moreThe greater of 20% of that freight basis or USD5 multiplied by the chargeable weight in kilograms

Check the applicable freight basis

The calculation uses paid international base freight, fuel, agreed remote-area delivery and necessary transport surcharges. Separate customs clearance, duties, VAT or GST, insurance, purchasing, storage and other non-transport charges are excluded. Ordinary applicable orders have no additional uniform maximum. A different special or bulk-shipment arrangement requires both parties’ written agreement before freight payment and cannot be imposed retrospectively.

Uninsured loss

Confirmed total loss uses the greater of 20% of the applicable whole-shipment freight or USD5 per chargeable kilogram. Partial loss uses the verifiable lost portion’s weight and allocated freight, with separate freight records preferred. Loss confirmation and any earlier delay-payment adjustment follow the detailed protection policy.

Uninsured transport damage

Verified damage is reviewed first for reasonable repair, replacement of a damaged part or a customer-agreed replacement shipment. If reasonable repair or replacement is unavailable, cash compensation reflects verified actual loss. The additional commercial damage limit is the greater of 20% of the affected part’s freight or USD5 per affected chargeable kilogram, capped at verified actual loss. Our own fault and non-excludable statutory responsibilities are assessed separately.

Timing adjustments require evidence

Only evidenced time directly caused by the customer is deducted. Our own causes do not create an exemption. Ordinary carrier delays and routine customs checks do not automatically pause timing. Exceptional customs events and force majeure require a review of the prior agreement, actual impact and law, with records and customer notification.

Report a concern and follow the review

Send the order or shipment reference, issue and your contact details to register a case. Receipt is confirmed within two working days, with initial progress within five working days. The detailed policy explains evidence, review and payment timelines, progress updates, refund choice, and how different remedies are handled.

Review voluntary insurance separately

The basic commercial protection is separate from insurance. The website accepts insurance enquiries and does not charge premiums or issue cover before authorisation and an actual policy are verified. For DHL, FedEx and UPS shipments, confirm the actual carrier’s applicable coverage and claims terms. Read the service terms with your shipment proposal before approving dispatch.
