PROCUREMENT FROM CHINA

Define the checks before relying on the result.

Tell us the product, quantity, location and checks that matter to your business. Our team reviews the inspection scope, reporting and decisions needed before shipment.

Start with the inspection request

List the product, quantity, requirements, tolerances or concerns, location or expected arrival, and the decision the report needs to support. Provide an approved sample or reference drawing where relevant.

Set the inspection scope

Agree the inspection stage, sampling method, access conditions and acceptance criteria. Specify measurements, packaging requirements, critical defects and the supporting records needed.

Review findings before release

Ask for the units examined, observed defects and supporting photos or measurements. Assign the person who can accept, hold or request corrective action. Agree the approval and release process with your team.

Handle exceptions in writing

Record any rework, replacement or reinspection decision with the supplier. Confirm how it affects timing, costs and shipment release. Customer-requested additional reinspection is charged to the customer. Supplier non-conformity follows the purchasing and quality agreement, and a testing institution’s error follows its contract. We bear reasonable direct extra costs caused by our own sampling, sample-delivery or commissioning errors. Preserve evidence while responsibility is reviewed and approve new charges in writing first.

Professional inspection and external reports

Professional inspection starts at USD 50 per inspection project, with the complete fixed scope and price approved in writing before work. Third-party testing uses the institution’s approved quote; only specialist coordination beyond the included agency service may be quoted separately. You receive the institution’s complete signed electronic report or its authorised complete version, with a necessary Chinese or English summary. The institution’s conclusions are not altered. Any extra charge for a certified paper report or professional translation requires prior written agreement. Report use follows the institution’s authorisation and confidentiality terms.

Confirm costs and responsibilities

Confirm the agreed checks, coverage, reporting and follow-up arrangements. Define separate testing or certification requirements where needed. Ask which amounts are confirmed, estimated or pending and approve additional work before it begins.

Read the result against its coverage

Read findings against the agreed scope, inspected units and actual access conditions. Any conclusion about performance or compliance requires the applicable tests, criteria and evidence.

What happens next

Share the requirement, review the inspection scope and costs, then approve the work. Review the findings and give the agreed release or corrective-action instruction before shipment.

Build the brief around your product’s failure points

Describe what would make the goods unsuitable for their intended use, then agree which observations, measurements or tests belong in the inspection. A cosmetic mark, a missing accessory and a dimensional mismatch may need different criteria. Provide reference drawings or an approved sample where they help define the requirement.

Prepare for a finding that needs a decision

Identify who can review a discrepancy and whether the batch should be held while that decision is pending. If corrective work is proposed, record the affected goods, requested action and evidence needed for a follow-up review. Agree any further work and charges before instructing it.

Agree which views and markings to record

Give the inspector a reference part or drawing and specify the views, markings and measurements you expect in the report. Use the agreed test method and acceptance criteria for any fit or performance checks.

Questions before you start

What should an inspection request specify?

List the product, quantity, requirements, tolerances or concerns, location and the decision the report needs to support. Include the expected arrival if the goods are still moving, plus an approved sample or reference drawing where relevant.

Do you release goods automatically after checking?

No. Agree the approval and release process with your team. An inspection report is not automatic permission to ship. Identify the person who can accept the findings, hold the goods or request corrective action.

Can you inspect an order from my supplier?

Share the location and access conditions so the team can confirm which inspection arrangement is practical. Define the required checks, coverage and reporting before approving the work.

Set out the inspection you need

Share the product, quantity, location and the decision the inspection needs to support. Include acceptance criteria, drawings or a sample reference where available.
